Pacific Gateway Hotel Workers' 1-Year Strike Rally!

Pacific Gateway hotel workers went on strike in May 2021 after the hotel terminated 143 long-term workers, mostly women, during the pandemic. The firings came after the federal government took over the hotel as a quarantine site and brought in contractors. The feds left the hotel earlier this year, but Pacific Gateway workers continue to fight back against mass firings and economic rollbacks.

Join hotel workers on the picket line to mark the 1-year strike anniversary on Thursday May 12. We’re calling on Pacific Gateway Hotel to do what’s right and return long-term staff to their pre-pandemic jobs!
