Democratic Socialists Canvass to elect Sean Orr

Sunday, March 23, 1pm to 4pm @ Mt Pleasant Park (16th Ave and Ontario)

Join Sean Orr and DSOV members for a mega-canvass.

DSOV members are encouraged to join a mega-canvass – a fancy way of saying a few dozen or more folks getting together to knock on doors or drop flyers – to elect Sean Orr. 

All levels of experience campaigning are welcome! The message is simple and it’s one we can all share with our friends, neighbours, and co-workers: Vancouver doesn’t have to be this way. We can fight for housing, we can hold Ken Sim’s feet to the fire, and we can win! 

We’ll have a tent and table at the Park and be sending volunteers out with teams to canvass the Mt Pleasant neighbourhood, which includes a lot of threatened affordable rental housing. Advance voting at City Hall starts March 26, so this is a great day to spread the word. 

If you’re interested in getting involved in the COPE campaign to elect Sean Orr in any capacity, they are looking for volunteers for all sorts of things for the next four weeks.
