People are going hungry and corporations are monopolizing our food systems. While 1 in 5 children in BC are food insecure, the profit margins of monopoly capitalists are soaring. While governments tout "reconciliation", climate degradation and settler colonialism is eroding Indigenous communities' land and food sovereignty.
While northern communities can't get access to affordable and readily available food, corporate subsidies stuff the fat cats pockets.
While your grocery bills continue to climb, the parasitic capitalists are engaged in exploitation of labour at home and abroad.
From seeds to machines to labour protections, we need to take control of the whole damn means of production!
