The DSoV Reading & Discussion Group is back!

We will be meeting Thursday August 11th at 7pm PST on Zoom, and will be discussing two short pieces:

“Opinion: America’s social contract with its citizens lies in tatters. What happens next is for Americans to decide” by David Moscrop for The Globe and Mail

&

“The Apocalypse is Disappointing: Traversing the Ecological Fantasy” by Erik Swyngedouw

Anyone who has attended at least one reading group can sign up to moderate a weekly discussion if they’d like. If there is a book or long-form piece the group would like to read, then we can begin discussing it by chapter/section every other week, alternating with shorter pieces.
